Minatare Free Press newspaper

sentinelThe Minatare Free Press newspaper actually began its existence as The Sentinel in what we believe to be the week of Sept 15, 1904. To the best of our knowledge ownership of the paper at the time the name change took place remained with Worth M. Miller. We are not sure why he decided to change the name of the paper but he carried the Sentinel sub-title, including separate volume and issue numbers until January 1913 at which time the paper assumed the lone title of the Minatare Free Press. Volume #1, Issue #1 of the Minatare Free Press was on Feb 20, 1908, the final issue was published on November 19, 1964.
