Mike & Linda Minzey

and some I would like to meet!

Mike & Linda Minzey, dressed in mid to late 1800’s clothing, will present their popular program on Outhouses with the goal of relating their personal experiences with growing up using “outdoor plumbing” while discussing the different types of outhouses including those such as the Rocky Mountain outhouse use by miners and railroaders, circa 1870-1890.  A portion of their program will be devoted to Outhouse stories through cowboy-style poetry and power point.

Mike retired in 2012 from a 46-year career as a housing developer with CAPWN, but continues seasonal employment with H&R Block, now in his 36th year.  He also has returned to CAPWN on a limited basis as a consultant in his field.

Linda is a night supervisor with Northfield Retirement Communities, an organization with whom she has worked for the past 16 years of her 26 year nursing career.

A discussion session will follow the program relating to outhouse styles, rules and some of the experiences we’ve all had while utilizing them!

This program will be video recorded and placed in the members only section of our website for future viewing by our members.
